Setting up for another potential snoozefest, Red Bull’s Max Verstappen was mostly uncontested as he won the pole position for tomorrow’s 2021 Austrian Grand Prix.
The race will be held at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg, Austria – where Verstappen easily won last week’s Styrian Grand Prix. This time, Verstappen will not even have to fend off Mercedes as both of the Mercedes fell off to fourth and fifth, respectively – behind the McLaren of Lando Norris and Verstappen’s Red Bull teammate, Sergio Perez.
