Verstappen Quickest In FP2 For 2020 Styrian Grand Prix

Red Bull’s Max Verstappen was fastest in the second practice session in preparation for this weekend’s 2020 Styrian Grand Prix.

Verstappen edged out Mercedes’ Valtteri Bottas – by a mere 0.043 seconds – with Racing Point’s Sergio Perez and Lance Stroll in third and fourth. Current defending world champion Lewis Hamilton of Mercedes was sixth as he struggled with his Mercedes’ balance.

Meanwhile, Renault’s Daniel Ricciardo provided the highlight reel moment of the session with a heavy crash at Turn Nine.

McLaren’s Lando Norris was eighth fastest but was docked with a three-place grid penalty for overtaking while passing yellow caution flags in first practice session.

Charles Leclerc was ninth-fastest for Ferrari in ninth place with his teammate Sebastian Vettel coming in at 16th fastest after having his best lap deleted for exceeding track limits.
