The inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix survived a rocky pair of practice sessions before moving on to a surprising qualifying session and then to a scintillating and equally surprising race start which saw Red Bull’s Max Verstappen get penalized for pushing Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc off the road in the first corner.
As the race wore on, there were multiple vantage points for fans not able to afford the expensive grandstand seats and that varied from trackside rails outside the fencing along the city’s famed Strip to the good ole Flamingo Hotel room view of the same Strip.
