Wayne Taylor Racing Vette Conquers Long Beach In Tudor Race

The Corvette Daytona prototype of Wayne Taylor Racing won overall honors at Long Beach in the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship Series. Taylor’s Corvette – driven by his two sons, Ricky and Jordan – outpaced the Ford Daytona prototype of Chip Ganassi Racing driven by Scott Pruett and Joey Hand. The final podium spot was claimed by another Corvette Daytona prototype, this one from VisitFlorida.com and driven by Richard Westbrook and Michael Valiante.

The GT-LeMans class was claimed by a BMW driven by Bill Auberlen and Dirk Werner – who finished seventh overall.

The TUDOR United SportsCar Championship Series continues with the Monterey Grand Prix at Laguna Seca on May 2-3, 2015.
