What? No Janitor As Host? BBC Has Six Top Gear Hosts

The BBC has officially announced the remainder of the hosts for their new version of “Top Gear” and it seems they decided to name just about everybody as a host except for the janitor. Joining previously announced co-hosts Matt LeBlanc and Chris Evans will be an array of other people – some of whom you may have heard of and some of whom you probably did not know even existed.

The first and foremost host everybody who watched the former “Top Gear” surely knows is Sabine Schmitz, the German test track driver who regularly terrorized Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May on the old show. While her command of English may sometimes be in question, her driving skills never are – and she was much easier on the eyes than Clarkson, Hammond and May.

Next up is Eddie Jordan, who used to own a Formula One team back in the day and is Irish – so at least most of “Top Gear”‘s homeland will know about him.

After that, it gets a little smudgy. There’s Rory Reid, the editor of an obscure British car magazine, who seems to be the replacement for May and bringing up the rear is Chris Harris, whose main claim to fame seems to be as a YouTube car reviewer.

Finally, of course, there is The Stig…and presumably, all his cousins.
