Who Is Top Gear’s Newest Co-Host?

Like many people, you probably thought it was weird that the BBC was having Matt LeBlanc host a recent special edition of “Top Gear”. Well, that is because the Beeb was prepping you for their announcement that LeBlanc would be joining the show as a co-host with Chris Evans – marking the first time the show has ever had a non-British presenter.

LeBlanc had twice been a guest on the previous and most popular version of the show with Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May as presenters and has street cred as the fastest celebrity around the track in a reasonably priced car and is, in fact, the current record-holder in that regard [1 minute, 42.1 seconds].

LeBlanc is, of course, known to most American audiences for his role as Joey in the massively popular 1990s sitcom, “Friends”.
