Williams Hands Wheel To Wolff For Two Practice Sessions

Williams has handed over the wheel of their Formula One car to Susie Wolff as a development driver for two free practice sessions sometime during the 2014 season. The 31-year-old Wolff, who spent seven years in the German touring car series, is the wife of Mercedes executive Toto Wolff, who used to be an executive at Williams. Wolff had already participated in solely for Williams last year but will become the first woman to participate in Grand Prix weekend testing in 22 years, when Giovanna Amati drove for Brabham at Interlagos in Brazil.

The 2014 Formula One season begins with the Australian Grand Prix on March 16, 2014.
