Williams Launches Their Car For The 2021 Formula One Season

Williams has launched their car for the upcoming 2021 Formula One season.

George Russell is the lead driver for the team and the 23-year-old Brit had a good year last year – while he was temporarily driving for Mercedes as a substitute for Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton at the 2020 Sakhir Grand Prix when Hamilton was recovering after contracting the Covid-19 coronavirus – other than that, it was the usual Williams year down at the back of the pack.

Russell will be joined by 25-year-old Canadian Nicholas Latifi, competing in his second F1 season, and Latifi had similar results as Russell, frequently finishing at the back of the pack as well.

Williams have finished last in the constructors’ championship for the past three seasons and last year the Williams family stepped away from the team after it was sold to investment group Dorilton Capital.
