Casting aside speculation that they might have a driver change next year, Williams has announced that they intend to keep Finnish driver Valtteri Bottas and Brazilian Felipe Massa as their top two drivers for the 2015 season. Bottas has been with the team for five years while Massa joined last year. Williams has not won a race since 2012 [Pastor Maldonado] and has not won the team championship since 1997.
This year’s Mercedes-powered Williams team is currently a distant third in the championship standings with 177 points while in the driver’s standings, Bottas is fourth [122 points] and Massa is ninth [55].
