Hyundai Promotes Women’s World Cup [And Mia Hamm]


Hyundai Motor is one of the primary sponsors of the FIFA Women’s World Cup France 2019 and promotes their sponsorship with a short film featuring artist Rachel Gadsden and one of the USA’s all-time greats, Mia Hamm.

The theme of the campaign is “True Passion,” which refers to female athletes’ inner strength for overcoming various social challenges and barriers.

Hyundai has been the official automotive partner of FIFA World Cup events since 1999 and has supplied 96 vehicles – SUV’s Santa Fe, Tucson and Kona – for usage as FIFA officials’ transportation during the FIFA Women’s World Cup France 2019.

The USA will play for their third consecutive Women’s World Cup title when they take on The Netherlands in Lyon at 8am [Pacific Standard Time] on July 7, 2019.

For those in the area or attending the final match, Hyundai has set up a FIFA Fan Experience zone outside the match stadium in Lyon, Parc Olympique Lyonnais, allowing participants to play football shooting games, take photos and experience displayed vehicles up close.
