Ayrton’s Senna’s Acura NSX Going On The Block
Ayrton Senna owned a black 1992 Acura NSX back when the Brazilian Formula One racing legend was on the Honda-sponsored F1 racing team and that car will be going up for auction later this month. Senna had several NSX cars at the time until his untimely death in a crash at Imola in 1994. This particular model was owned through his manager and close personal friend, Antonio Carlos de Almeida Braga, who had the car outfitted with a black-on-black interior – Senna’s favorite combo – and has only 31,800 miles on it after having gone through two owners since Braga’s ownership but had been driven by Senna to visit Braga in Portugal.
The car is expected to bring a minimum of $123,000 when it is put up for auction at the Silverstone Auctions’ Race Retro & Classic Car Sale in Silverstone on February 22-23, 2014.
