Although Caterham still harbored slim-to-none hopes that some sort of miracle would occur in the first few weeks of the new year to resurrect the failed Formula One team, that miracle never materialized and now the team’s demise is official as auction dates are being set to sell off most of Caterham’s equipment and items to meet creditor demands. Items to be sold in the auctions include, race trailers, office furniture, race simulators and various memorabilia – although the trailers, simulators, autoclave and Dell race computer will be sold at separate auctions. Caterham failed to score a point in four seasons of Formula One competition.
A series of online, timed auctions orchestrated by Wyles, Hardy & Co.will take place between March 11 and May 14, 2015.
