Jeep Reveals Electric Magneto

on

Jeep has revealed the Magneto – a new all-electric version of their iconic Wrangler – but being a concept vehicle, consumers will have to wait at least a couple years before it becomes available to purchase.

The Jeep Wrangler Magneto concept is based off a two-door 2020 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon but, instead of an internal combustion engine, it boasts four batteries and an e-motor.

Jeep claims the Magneto is capable of up to 285 horsepower and goes 0-60 mph in 6.8 seconds but – interestingly – did not release the electric range of the vehicle. The Magneto also has a six-speed manual transmission.
