Sunderland Wins 2022 Dakar Rally Motorbike, al-Attiyah Wins Car Division
British rider Sam Sunderland won his second Dakar Rally title in the motorbikes classification on Friday. The Dubai-based Sunderland finished ahead of Honda rider Pablo Quintanilla of Chile and KTM’s Matthias Walkner of Austria. Qatari driver Nasser al-Attiyah held off French nine-time world rally champion Sebastien Loeb to win his fourth cars title.
