McLaren Launches Their 2021 Formula One Car
McLaren has launched their new Formula One car for the 2021 season – which they are dubbing the MCL35M – after switching from Renault to Mercedes engines in 2021.
McLaren’s two drivers for the season are Australian Daniel Ricciardo – who joins after two years at Renault – and Brit Lando Norris. Ricciardo won seven races for Red Bull between 2014 and 2018 before departing to Renault.
Norris has a podium finish from the Covid-19-truncated 2020 F1 season where he finished ninth overall and has recently recovered from the virus after contracting it last month.
McLaren finished third in the constructor’s championship in 2020 – edging out Racing Point and Renault.
